Syrah is the same as Shiraz, only under this name it is known in Europe. Dark berries with a very rich flavor and aroma are used to make drinks with an absolutely stunning bouquet. It harmoniously combines notes of fruit (blackberries, cherries and plums) with hints of green pepper, tobacco, spices and milk chocolate. Vines from the warm region produce soft red wines with a pleasantly velvety taste, and the cooler climate makes the taste of drinks more tart, with a pronounced acidity, hints of olives and mint. The gastronomic pairing of Syrah wine is usually with veal, roasted ribs, burgers, pasta, grilled meats, mushroom sauces and stews.
