France has excellent conditions for growing vineyards. One of the best is the Côte Roti region. The Syrah variety is predominantly cultivated there. It produces wonderful red dry wines with a strength of about 12-14%. The wines from Côte Rotie have repeatedly received the highest appraisals from the world-famous critics and sommeliers. The drink pairs wonderfully with rabbit, poultry and oriental cuisine. Be sure to serve at a temperature of about 10-12 degrees. A little chilled wine will let you feel the whole palette of flavors.
