Mildiani Rkatsiteli Kvevri

Mildiani Rkatsiteli Kvevri is an orange dry wine produced in Georgia, a country with a rich winemaking tradition dating back thousands of years. This wine is made from the Rkatsiteli grape variety and is fermented and aged in kvevri, traditional Georgian clay vessels. The use of kvevri gives the wine a unique character, with aromas of dried apricots, honey, and spices, as well as a rich tannic structure and a long finish.
Mildiani Rkatsiteli Kvevri pairs well with spicy and savory dishes such as grilled meats, stews, and curries. Its complex flavors make it an excellent pairing for Georgian cuisine, especially dishes such as khachapuri (cheese-filled bread) and chakhokhbili (chicken stew).
Georgia is the primary producer of Rkatsiteli wine, with other countries such as Russia and Moldova also producing it on a smaller scale. However, the use of kvevri and traditional winemaking techniques is unique to Georgia and has earned it a place on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
