Fanagoria Saperavi wine is one of the best examples of Georgian winemaking. The autochthonous Saperavi variety is used to create the drink. The grapes saturate the wine with a pronounced pomegranate-red hue. It is characterized by a rich, moderate astringency, berry and fruit tones, complemented with oriental spices. A light aftertaste of pomegranate and prunes is left after the drink. The drink pairs well with grilled meat and hard cheese. A distinctive feature of this wine is its bright color. Such effect is provided by berries, which contain a high level of anthocyanins. That is why after tasting the glass is colored red.
