Crimean Saperavi wine has a velvety taste with dried fruits, berries and spices. The juicy aroma is accompanied by unusual hints of black berries. It can be distinguished among other wines by its rich and intense red color. The vine is grown in the territory of Kakheti, as well as in all the winemaking zones of the Crimea. Winemakers produce Saperavi monosorts and semisweet wines. They ripen slowly, so they acquire their best qualities. Saperavi is used with meats and hard cheeses. It is exported to all regions of Russia and CIS countries. Traditional technologies are used for their production, and the cultivation of the ideal variety is facilitated by optimal climatic conditions, which give the alcohol its specific character.
